Agreement and eligibility
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of RiseMate, provided by CodeApps (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By downloading, accessing, or using RiseMate, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
You must be legally able to enter into this agreement in your country. If you use RiseMate for another person or organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for them.
Baking guidance is not a guarantee
Fermentation windows, starter status, schedules, reminders, photo assessments, and recommendations are estimates. Flour, starter activity, temperature, equipment, technique, and other real-world factors can change outcomes.
Always verify dough behavior using physical signs and your own judgment. RiseMate does not guarantee timing, fermentation, food quality, safety, or a particular baking result.
Food, allergy, and equipment safety
You are responsible for ingredient selection, allergies, food handling, storage, oven and equipment use, and determining whether food is safe to consume. RiseMate does not provide medical, dietary, nutritional, or professional food-safety advice.
Timers and notifications are conveniences and may be delayed, suppressed, or missed because of device settings, operating-system restrictions, connectivity, time-zone changes, or other conditions. Do not rely on RiseMate as your only safety reminder.
Guest use and accounts
A permanent account is optional for core local use and may be required for backup, restore, multi-device synchronization, or other online services. You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity performed through your account.
Local data may be lost if you delete the app, clear its storage, lose your device, or sign out and choose to remove local data before a successful backup. Export important records when appropriate.
Subscriptions and purchases
RiseMate may offer monthly, annual, or lifetime Premium access. Prices, currency, trial eligibility, billing period, taxes, and offer terms are displayed by Apple App Store or Google Play before purchase.
- Recurring subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled through your store account before renewal.
- The annual plan may include a three-day introductory trial for eligible users where offered by the store.
- Canceling stops future renewal but does not delete your data.
- Refunds and billing disputes are handled under the applicable store’s rules.
- Use Restore Purchases to recover eligible access associated with your store account.
A lifetime purchase means access to the lifetime entitlement and features designated for that entitlement while RiseMate is offered. It is not a guarantee that every future third-party or usage-based service will be included without limits.
AI and imported content
When AI features are available, their output may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable, especially when images are unclear or context is missing. AI results are guidance, not a definitive diagnosis.
Review every imported recipe, measurement, temperature, timing, and recommendation before using it. You remain responsible for decisions based on imported or generated content.
Your content and permissions
You retain ownership of recipes, notes, photos, observations, and other content you create or upload. You give us a limited permission to host, process, copy, and transmit that content only as needed to provide the features you request, secure the service, and comply with law.
You must have the right to use content you submit. Do not upload unlawful, infringing, harmful, or privacy-violating material.
Acceptable use
- Do not bypass Premium access, usage limits, security, or App Check protections.
- Do not reverse engineer the service except where law expressly permits it.
- Do not disrupt, overload, scrape, automate abuse of, or probe the service.
- Do not use RiseMate to violate law or another person’s rights.
- Do not resell or commercially exploit the service without written permission.
Availability, changes, and termination
We may improve, add, limit, suspend, or discontinue features to protect security, reliability, legal compliance, or product quality. Online services may occasionally be unavailable.
You may stop using RiseMate at any time. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary for fraud, abuse, security, legal compliance, or a serious breach of these Terms. Where practical, we will provide notice and an opportunity to export data.
Disclaimers and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RiseMate is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CodeApps will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of data, profits, goodwill, or baking materials arising from your use of RiseMate. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Changes and contact
We may update these Terms. We will revise the effective date and, when changes are material, provide notice through the app or another reasonable method. Continued use after the updated Terms take effect means you accept them.
